Unfortunately, we have heard too many stories of individuals seeking out the cheapest spa cover only to be ripped off, or left with a low-quality, quickly deteriorating cover.
Spacovers.com was founded in 1991 by then 19 years old, David Shaverdi. Fresh out of high school; armed with an entrepreneurial spirit and a natural construction skillset, David sought out to blaze his own trail. With a family deeply rooted in the Spa & Hot Tub Industry, it was only natural that he would find his niche herein. Note: In case of any disparities between the warranty terms as presented on this website and those out lined in the “written policy” provided with a purchased cover, the terms of “written policy” shall take precedence.
www.cityhottubcovers.com extends a two-year* limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is applicable exclusively to the original purchaser, commencing from the date of delivery. It is important to note that this warranty is non-transferable.
Any instances of defects in the materials or workmanship of the spa cover within the first year from the original delivery date to the purchaser will be rectified or replaced, at the discretion of www.cityhottubcovers.com without any associated costs and at a prorated discount of 50% after the 1st year and upto 2nd year. Please be advised that the handles are exclusively covered against breakage for the initial twelve months. Furthermore, it is worth noting that this warranty exclusively pertains to the locking fastener components of the tie-down straps, rather than the tie-down straps themselves.
Foam Core Warranty for Spa Cover
The foam core component of the cover is covered under warranty for a duration of two years against becoming waterlogged. For the purpose of this warranty, waterlogged is defined as follows: To qualify as waterlogged, a foam core must exceed fifty percent of its original weight within the specified one-year warranty period. The initial weight for each foam core is available upon request from www.cityhottubcovers.com .Every foam core submitted for a waterlogging warranty claim will undergo precise weighing by www.cityhottubcovers.com on a government-certified legal scale before any replacement foam core is provided. During the initial twelve-month period, waterlogged foam cores will be replaced at no cost. In the subsequent twelve-month period, replacements will be done at a cost of 75% of the foam core.
It is important to note that any puncture of the polyethylene vapor barrier will nullify the foam core warranty
Exclusions:
The aforementioned warranty shall not apply to the following:
A. Conditions arising from misuse, negligence, or accidents.
B. Conditions resulting from a failure to perform reasonable and necessary maintenance as outlined in the maintenance and use instructions provided by wwwcityhottubcovers.com
C. Conditions resulting from exposure to chemicals or abrasive materials.
D. Normal fading and deterioration of exterior surfaces due to exposure to natural elements.
E. Conditions resulting from a defect in a component not integral to the www.cityhottubcovers.com
F. Conditions resulting from the use of any spa cover removal device.
G. Conditions arising from weather-related damage.
H. Conditions arising from normal wear and tear.
I. Conditions leading to the breaking or cracking of the foam core under any circumstances
J. Conditions resulting in damage or tearing of the tie-down straps for any reason – please refer to exclusion
